Adventure Club
This organisation addresses the needs of disadvantaged children in Perth, providing a variety of free after-school, weekend and school holiday activities for disadvantaged children out of school hours. The Australian Children's Trust has contributed to the funding of two part-time activity co-ordinators who, through the activities running at Adventure Club, aim to provide children with a solid platform from which to face the future, while aiming to contribute to enhancing the childhoods of these children.
Speech & Hearing Centre
The Speech & Hearing Centre was established in 1966 by a group of parents unhappy with the range of education choices for their deaf children. The Centre has grown and now provides a range of services from a family-centred objective for children with speech and hearing difficulties in Western Australia. The Australian Children's Trust contributed to maintaining the role of a speech pathologist to co-ordinate the Centre’s Talkabout Program for children with language development issues and the RESCU Program which provides long distance sessions via video conferencing.

The Claremont Therapeutic Riding Centre has operated in Claremont since 1969 with the purpose of providing facilities for horseback riding, which has therapeutic and social benefits for children with disabilities. Among the people who attend the Centre are children with cerebral palsy or hearing and sight impairments, and children with other physical and intellectual special needs. The Centre provides an opportunity for children with disabilities to integrate with society, and the Australian Children's Trust has contributed to fund a covered arena which will allow the Centre’s activities to continue all year round.
